The U.S. Treasury Board reported today that the U.S. has a record $4 billion deficit. Guess that's what happens when you cut taxes AND go to war.
With that in mind I'm heading into my salary negotiations tomorrow. I'm just hoping that at no point in the proceedings will I have to point out to the powers that be that things could be a whole lot worse.
For this time, it is I who am resolved.
